Ingredients - mushrooms (4)
- 1/2 onion
- garlic (2 cloves)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil (maybe try butter instead?)
Recipe - Chop the mushrooms into slices, dice the onion, and finely chop the garlic cloves.
- Over medium high heat, sautee the mushrooms and onions in the olive oil until they are lightly browned (5-7 min).
- Add in garlic and stir until fragrant (about 30 sec).
- Stir in the flour and cook that glop for 1 minute.
- Whisk in the broth, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally.
