Mushroom gravy

Ingredients
  • mushrooms (4)
  • 1/2 onion
  • garlic (2 cloves)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (maybe try butter instead?)

Recipe

  1. Chop the mushrooms into slices, dice the onion, and finely chop the garlic cloves.
  2. Over medium high heat, sautee the mushrooms and onions in the olive oil until they are lightly browned (5-7 min).
  3. Add in garlic and stir until fragrant (about 30 sec).
  4. Stir in the flour and cook that glop for 1 minute.
  5. Whisk in the broth, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally.
