Milk punch

Get
  • hibiscus tea bags
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 4 oz (1/2 cup) dark rum (flor de caña)
  • 2 oz allspice dram
  • 2 oz lemon juice
  • 1 cup milk
Do
  • brew 2 1/4 cups (0.5L+) of strong tea. i like using hibiscus!
  • steep for 5 minutes, then stir in the sugar.
  • once that's dissolved, add the brandy, rum, allspice dram, and lemon juice. (these ingredients will add up to 2 cups together.) stir all together and leave for a half hour to cool.
Later
  • pour milk into a pitcher. then pour this liter of sorrow INTO the pitcher. do not stir. leave it to settle for one hour.
Later still
  • strain through a coffee filter. this will take an hour or so. chill and save for two months.
