Get: - ravioli (premade with cheese would be simple)
- butter
- almonds
- pear, minced
Do: - sliver almonds
- mince pear
- boil the ravioli (fresh usually doesn't take long, follow instructions if packaged)
- melt slices of butter in a pan over medium heat
- add the almonds as the butter browns
- remove from heat and transfer to a dish to stop cooking
- pour sauce over the ravioli and serve
Notes: I got this idea from a restaurant in Guerneville. Theirs was ravioli stuffed with pulled pork in this brown butter sauce with minced pear and shaved toasted almonds. The pork and ravioli were a little under-flavored, but the sauce was delicious.
