Apple stuffing:
- 2 cups apple (2 apples)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
Crumble:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- peel, core, and wedge the apples. then chop the wedges into 1/2 inch chunks.
- mix the remaining "stuffing" ingredients together, then toss the apple chunks in them to coat.
- in a separate bowl, mix all the crumble ingredients together into a paste.
- in a shallow baking vessel, layer the apple stuffing on the bottom, then cover with the crumble paste.
- bake for 45-50 minutes at 350F.
