Turkey burgers with bacon: - ground turkey meat, thigh if possible (1lb per 2 people for generous servings)
- 3 strips bacon
- olive oil
- salt, pepper, garlic powder
- minced onion (1/3 onion per pound of turkey)
- spicy mustard
Do: - Fry 3 strips of bacon in a large skillet
- Remove strips and allow to cool. Do not drain the pan!
- Mince bacon and onion
- Combine with turkey, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and spicy mustard
- Form into patties
- Fry 4-7 minutes on a side in the bacon grease.
Do: - combine turkey meat, finely minced onion, olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, mustard. mix with hands and then arrange into patties. put a little dimple in the middle!
- grill for 6 minutes i think.
- toast buns on grill
- add cheese, red onion, and serve.
