Turkey bacon burgers

Turkey burgers with bacon:
  • ground turkey meat, thigh if possible (1lb per 2 people for generous servings)
  • 3 strips bacon
  • olive oil
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • minced onion (1/3 onion per pound of turkey)
  • spicy mustard
Do:
  • Fry 3 strips of bacon in a large skillet
  • Remove strips and allow to cool. Do not drain the pan!
  • Mince bacon and onion
  • Combine with turkey, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and spicy mustard
  • Form into patties
  • Fry 4-7 minutes on a side in the bacon grease.


Do:
  • combine turkey meat, finely minced onion, olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, mustard. mix with hands and then arrange into patties. put a little dimple in the middle!
  • grill for 6 minutes i think.
  • toast buns on grill
  • add cheese, red onion, and serve.
